Connecting with Others

  •  In a review of literature, Student Participation in College Student Organizations: A Review of Literature went over how the benefits of extracurricular activities help develop skills that will assist students in the future. 

  • “Increasing student’s level of connection to their campus by providing numerous opportunities for peer interactions and endorsing a wide-ranging social life by way of student organizations were positively associated with students’ feelings of satisfaction with the student life on their campus” (Montelongo, 2002). 

  • Getting involved in campus extracurricular activities may help students enhance a more positive attitude about student life and make them more connected to campus.
