Connecting with Others
In a review of literature, Student Participation in College Student Organizations: A Review of Literature went over how the benefits of extracurricular activities help develop skills that will assist students in the future.
“Increasing student’s level of connection to their campus by providing numerous opportunities for peer interactions and endorsing a wide-ranging social life by way of student organizations were positively associated with students’ feelings of satisfaction with the student life on their campus” (Montelongo, 2002).
Getting involved in campus extracurricular activities may help students enhance a more positive attitude about student life and make them more connected to campus.
